Membership
Since 1986, the TMUG – Triangle Macintosh Users Group – has been helping Mac users in the Research Triangle area of North Carolina. If you are a new Mac user or a seasoned veteran, TMUG can help you learn to use your computer, solve computer problems, and keep you up to speed on the latest products. TMUG meetings are free and open to the public. We meet on the second Monday of each month from 6:30 – 9:00 pm at Caldwell Hall on the NC State campus.
But membership has its privileges…
By joining TMUG, you receive these benefits:
- automatic eligibility for door prizes at the monthly meetings.
- participatory member access to the on-line tmug.org community.
- exclusive discounts and special offers from hardware, software, and service vendors.
- eligibility to participate in TMUG only events; e.g. swap meets, parties.
TMUG memberships are for 12 months. Memberships expire 1 year from the last day of the month one joins. There is a 60 day grace period after which membership benefits are no longer in effect.
Annual dues are only $35.00, less than you pay for a year’s email address & internet services, and much less than you pay for telephone computer help.
The easiest way to become a member is to fill out the membership application form and bring it to a meeting along with your check or credit card. But if you can’t make it to a meeting, please download the membership form, print it, fill it out, and mail it in with your check (made payable to “TMUG”) to:

Please be sure and provide us with a valid email address. TMUG web services cannot be set up without an email address.
If you choose to mail your payment, please send an email to our Membership officers at:

This will give them a heads-up to your membership application at the PO Box and expedite setting up your account.
