I'm currently reading, "Take Control of iCloud," and ran across something that I'm worried about.
In the iCloud compared/contrasted to MobileMe, it says, "iCloud Mail lacks several features found in MobileMe Mail. You can no longer fetch mail fro external POP accounts, nor can you use a POP client to collect your iCloud email. You can't use a From address from another account you own, and you can create only three email aliases instead of five."
The email account that I've used for over 5 years is Gmail. I receive Gmail in the Mail program on my MBP and on my iPad. I don't remember if Gmail is a POP account or an IMAP one, but now I'm concerned that I won't be able to pull that mail into my devices.
Is that correct?
