TMUG server

Stefan reported on status of the server. It's been up for 37 days w/o going down or rebooting.
Cort installed the backup drive in the new OWC miniStack enclosure on 8.1.08.
Smythe suggested MacHighway as an alternative host for TMUG.org to RTMX & our G4 server, in case we need to replace the server Mac. The price is much less. Stefan will investigate.

Future Meeting Programs

September Meeting:

  • Stefan will present, with focus on iPhone. He will send blurbs to list & write the webpage announcement. The program will potentially focus on member responses.

  • Q & A – Bob Chandler (Stefan will double check.)
  • Smythe will talk w/ Trish Huffman about doing a chat room for Q&A & the meeting. Smythe will talk with Allen about live blogging the meeting, or at least the Q&A.
