TMUG server
Stefan reported on status of the server
After replacing the mobo battery, the server has gone down & rebooted only once, but very quickly. There is currently no backup running on the server (the FW drive is not attached). But our dual RAID is acting as a "virtual"backup. Smythe suggested another option.

New Business
Old Business
- Stefan - status of our G4 server & connected FW drive enclosure.
- The server (G4 "mirror door") seems to be ok. The FW enclosure was flaky. Stefan swapped the HD into a different FW enclosure & installed it to the G4 on 6.25. The stability of the system will be monitored.
- Allen will email McKinney to let them know about our meeting location decision.
- Has not yet... and mentioned that it might not be appropriate if the video conference project doesn't keep traction.
- Smythe has identified a Karaoki PA from Best Buy for ~$80.
- He will try to pick up tonight.
- Purchase of UPS still pending
- May not be needed if the server problem was the FW enclosure rather than the stability of the power source.
- Chips will post to VidCon list to try & keep interest alive in the video conference group.
meeting adjourned
